Minister President Haseloff looks behind the scenes at AWH | 08-22-2019

As part of our summer trip, we welcomed Saxony-Anhalt's Minister President Dr. Reiner Haseloff on Aug. 21, 2019, to discuss current economic, political and AWH-specific issues. He was accompanied by Manfred Behrens (CDU, Member of the Bundestag), Christian Hirte (CDU, Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany), Silke Schindler (SPD, Member of the State Parliament) and Martin Stichnoth (CDU, District Administrator).

Managing Director Thomas Erhorn first introduced the company and specifically discussed its development over the past 30 years and its expansion. AWH employees also participated to answer detailed technical questions. In particular, topics such as the shortage of skilled workers and training at AWH were discussed.

During the subsequent tour of the company, it was possible to take a look behind the scenes. All politicians were extremely interested and set off for the next stop on their summer trip with A(W)Ha effect.
