RFID transponders can be found in almost all areas of daily life nowadays. We make use of this technology standard and now implement RFID transponders in our butterfly valves. A special InMetall transponder stores all necessary data about the valve. The information can be updated or overwritten up to 10,000 times. The transponder can be retrofitted, is waterproof and ready for immediate use. Each transponder is unique, as it is provided with a non-overwritable ID number. In addition, you can also store the position number from your P & ID on the chip. Chip and valve can thus be assigned again and again.

This type of monitoring gives you further security in dealing with your systems and processes. For reading out and writing to the transponders, there are particularly robust devices with an easy-to-read display, especially for applications in plants and production facilities. All data can be transferred from a mobile device to your system via Bluetooth, for example.
