AWH stands for the highest quality and technical precision - especially when it comes to low-emission components for plant engineering. Our TA-Luft-certified butterfly valves and connections now meet the requirements of the latest DIN EN ISO 15848 standard, offering even greater safety and sustainability.

What does the changeover to DIN EN ISO 15848 mean?

Previously, certification was based on VDI 2440, a guideline without clearly defined mechanical or thermal test cycles. This is where the new DIN EN ISO 15848 standard comes in and offers:

  • Clearly defined test methods for tightness under real operating conditions

  • Strict specifications for leakage rates, mechanical cycles and thermal load

  • Clear classification of tightness levels for maximum process reliability

Advantages for plant engineering

With the new certification, our customers benefit from a number of decisive advantages:

✔ Increased tightness - minimization of emissions and leakages
✔ Maximum operational safety - reliable function even under high loads
✔ Compliance with legal requirements - planning reliability for plant construction
✔ Sustainable environmental protection - lower emissions, reduced resource consumption
✔ Durability & efficiency - less maintenance, long-term cost savings

Reliable stainless steel technology for a sustainable future

The new TA-Luft-certified AWH products make an important contribution to reducing emissions in industry and meet the highest standards for sustainability, environmental protection and operational safety.
