Product Recovery Technology

AWH Product Recovery Technology ensures reliable product discharge. The efficient mode of operation optimizes the benefits, consumption, production time and capacity utilization of process plants. This ensures efficient and sustainable production and increases profitability and competitiveness.
Product recovery technology is used in various industries. The advantages are particularly evident when handling highly viscous, sticky or poorly soluble products.
The food and beverage industry uses the technology to process pasta, concentrates for soft drinks and chocolate.
The technology is suitable for use in the chemical industry for the production of paints and varnishes as well as cleaning agents and adhesives.
In the pharmaceutical industry, product recovery technology optimizes the production of pastes and ointments.
Product recovery technology is also used in the cosmetics industry for the production of shower gel or creams.
In addition to emptying pipes, pigs can also be used to protect the product against mixing with water or contact with oxygen.
The process is based on sealing between the pig and the pipeline so that no medium can flow past the pig.
Driven by pressure energy, the pig passes through the pipeline system and displaces its contents. The required energy is provided by a liquid or gaseous propellant.
A constant pipe diameter is required along the entire route to be passed. There must be no obstructions or bottlenecks in the system that could block the pig. Smooth and offset-free pipe connections protect the pig and reduce wear.
The pig glides on a liquid film during its passage. Operation under dry conditions is not possible.
AWH offers manual and hand-operated product recovery systems for entry-level applications.
Automated systems for increased convenience and process reliability are also available.
Fully automatic inline and aseptic systems are also part of the product range. These closed systems can be fully integrated into the cleaning process.
