Ball Valves

AWH ball valves impress with their flexible modular design. Like all AWH valves, they are compatible with the VMove® actuator. This means that they can be retrofitted without any problems even after commissioning.
AWH ball valves are characterized by a 100% free flow cross-section. Due to their ideal design, they are preferred for use in product recovery systems.
Furthermore, ball valves are also used in processes with sensitive products in which laminar flow conditions prevail. In such cases, a ball valve is definitely the best option.
The ball valves are available both with AWH standard handle and with maintenance-free rotary actuator from the butterfly valve range. Simple conversion from manual to automatic operation is also possible at a later date.
M12 initiators, for example, can be integrated into the VMove® as optional accessories.
AHW also offers special seals with a geometry adapted to the medium for abrasive and highly viscous media. These ensure smooth functionality under special and demanding conditions. In this scenario, the use of a valve with a heating jacket is also recommended.
To ensure optimum cleaning, the ball valve is integrated into the automatic CIP cycle. Sequential activation within the program sequence means that the ball is also backwashed and the valve is cleaned without residue to ensure optimum hygienic cleaning.
3 efficient variants:
Standard variant with intermediate flange design
Like all AWH valves, the standard version with wafer design guarantees a high level of serviceability and safety.
Ball valves with flushing connections
AWH ball valves with flushing connections are also available. The flushing connections are used to backflush the ball and the seals. This design ensures thorough and hygienic CIP cleaning even in places that are difficult to access.
Ball valves with heating jacket
AWH also offers a ball valve with a heating jacket. This variant is used in processes in which temperature-controlled media are used. For this purpose, the ball valve has an internal heating circuit system with flow and return connections.
